I am a Freelance Creative Designer with over 18 years professional experience. I work with many different businesses across various sectors. I also work with several large design agencies as a freelancer which allows me to work on lots of different projects, no two days are ever the same.
When I begin to work with a client, I like to be really nosy, asking loads of questions about their business, its challenges and the culture. I feel that this knowledge allows me to almost become an extension of their marketing department - someone they can call on when they need. This allows me to really get a feel for the brand and how they like to project themselves, their image, their style, this in turn aids the design process.
I have worked and developed a number of brands, right through from company name, to logo design and further into website graphics, social media graphics and the supporting marketing materials that accompany it. I have experience of working on a wide range of graphics to support a growing business, including corporate PowerPoint template design and pitch presentations, through to supporting graphics for bid documents.
I am passionate about using graphics as a way to communicate, whether that be a brand or a culture. Using visuals as a way of telling a story, breaking down complex messages and presenting them in a clear and effective way.
Away from my Mac
I live in Hampshire with my husband and two sons. I enjoy cooking, family holidays and crafting.
